The door monitoring system is used to give
high security protection for use in order to avoid from theft and easy
monitoring once door have been broken.
On the basic idea of a door monitoring
system are using PIC as main function to read and store the password enter by the
user. The password should be 5 bits as a bit encryption. Upon entered password
is true, then the magnetic lock will off therefore door can be open. Besides, this project includes transmitter
and receiver as a device to communicate between door and computer. Once the door
being broken, the transmitter is active and sent signals to a receiver at the
computer. From that signal, hostel warden easy to trace the theft room.The
benefit of the final year project is to develop technical skills, knowledge and
convert into a project that related study field. Fast thinking will produce positive
feedback and able to solve the problem during completing the FYP session. Besides,
this FYP will expose students from basic to the latest technology in electronics
such as programming, basic electronic components and trouble shoot circuit. It
is suitable with motto UniKL - BMI where knowledge can apply.
